Side by side
PopzIQ and Mailchimp
An email marketing platform with forms attached, priced by how many contacts you hold.
Mailchimp is the deeper email tool with two decades of sending behind it. PopzIQ is the one that does not charge you for holding on to people. The form that captured them is the same product that emails them.
The numbers
What each one actually gives you
Every figure in the Mailchimp column was read from the page linked under this table on 2026-09-03. Every figure in the PopzIQ column is enforced by our own code and is checked against it by a test that fails when the two disagree.
| The question | PopzIQ | Mailchimp |
|---|---|---|
| Contacts on the free plan | Unlimited. It is the axis a competitor charges for that we made free, on purpose. | Limit of 250 contacts |
| Emails a month, free plan | 500 | Max of 500 a month or 250 a day |
| Seats on the free plan | 2 | 1 seat |
| Support on the free plan | Email, with no clock on it | Email support for the first 30 days |
| Their branding on the free plan | A PopzIQ badge shows on a form. Growth removes it. | Removing Mailchimp branding is not on the free plan |
| Form submissions a month, free plan | 1,000 | Mailchimp prices contacts and sends rather than submissions |

The other direction
Where Mailchimp is the better answer
A comparison page that finds nothing to say here is an advert. These are things PopzIQ does not have. One of them names an open row on our own product map.
Mailchimp has been warming sending infrastructure for twenty years. PopzIQ sends from a domain you own and you build that reputation yourself, starting from nothing.
PopzIQ has no landing page builder, no online store, no postcards and no ad buying.
PopzIQ has a far smaller library of email templates and no marketplace of designs.
PopzIQ has no Zapier app and no app directory. You get webhooks and a REST API.
PopzIQ is new. Mailchimp is the safe choice and it is reasonable to weigh that.

The cheapest way to settle this is to try it
The free plan captures, stores and sends. No card, no trial clock and nothing to uninstall if it is not for you.
No card to start. No trial clock. The free plan runs the whole loop.
