Use case

Take registrations, then actually get people through the door

Registrations are easy. Attendance is the problem. Attendance is a follow-up problem rather than a form problem.

Because a registration in PopzIQ is an event on a customer record, the reminder, the reschedule note and the thank-you afterwards all run off the same row, with no list to export between them.

Anybody running a workshop, a webinar, a class or a party.

The path

What happens, in order

Each step names the rows it writes. Every one of those is a type from the frozen event catalog, which is the same log automations trigger on and webhooks relay, so nothing here is a step that only exists on this page.

  1. You send a link, not a website

A form published as a hosted link is a page of its own. Put it in an email, a message, a bio or a printed code, with no site involved at all.

    • form.viewed
    • form.submitted
  2. You ask what you actually need

Ticket type, how many are coming, food and drink needs and access needs, each with the right kind of answer behind it rather than a free-text box you have to read.

  3. Everyone who registered is one person

Somebody who came to the last one is the same contact with a longer timeline. You can see who comes back.

    • contact.created
    • contact.updated
  4. The reminder sends itself

The registration event triggers a broadcast to the people who signed up, at the time you choose, from your own domain.

    • broadcast.sent
    • email.delivered
    • email.opened
  5. A returning guest does not retype anything

Send a link that offers to fill the form from what you already hold. They press a button, the five things you know appear and they answer only what is new.

Start from

Templates that already ask this

Every one of these is a real template in the product with its questions already written. Apply one, change what is not yours and publish.

  • Use it for a ticketed or free event where you need a headcount and what people need on the night.

  • RSVP

    6 questions

Use it for an invitation where the only real question is whether somebody is coming.

  • Webinar signup

    6 questions

Use it for an online session where people pick a time and you email them the link.

Show it as

The modes that suit this

Display mode is a setting on the form. Try one this week and another next week without touching the questions or losing the submissions.

  • Hosted link

A page of its own on a URL you can send. No site needed at all, which is what makes it the mode to reach for in an email, a bio or a printed code.

  • Inline

The form sits in your page where you put the div. It scrolls with the content and pushes the page around it, so it reads as part of the site rather than as an advert on top of it.

  • Fullscreen

The form takes the whole window. The loudest thing in the set, for a welcome mat or a single question you want answered before anything else.

Honestly

What this does not cover

The things people ask for next, with the answer today. If one of these is the whole reason you were looking, better to read it here than to find out inside.

Where this stops

PopzIQ does not issue tickets, scan them at a door or hold seat inventory. It takes registrations.

There is no calendar invite attached to the confirmation.

Taking money for a ticket needs Starter or Growth and your own Stripe account.

Five minutes, start to finish

Create a workspace, apply one of the templates above, publish it and watch the first event land on a real customer record.

No card to start. No trial clock. The free plan runs the whole loop.
