Use case

Grow a mailing list without paying to hold on to it

Most list tools charge by how many people you are holding. That prices you for your own success and quietly encourages you to delete the people who have not opened anything lately.

PopzIQ does not meter contacts on any plan. You pay for what you send. The list itself is yours to keep.

Shops, publishers, restaurants and anybody whose next sale comes from somebody who already knows them.

The path

What happens, in order

Each step names the rows it writes. Every one of those is a type from the frozen event catalog, which is the same log automations trigger on and webhooks relay, so nothing here is a step that only exists on this page.

  1. They give you the address

One field and one tick, as a slide-in on exit intent or a bar across the top. The same form, published once, wherever you decide to put it.

    • form.viewed
    • form.submitted
  2. Consent is recorded as a thing that happened

Status, source and timestamp, from the first day rather than retrofitted. When somebody asks how you got their address, the timeline answers.

    • consent.granted
  3. You send from a domain you own

Broadcasts built from blocks, to an audience described with a saved segment, from your own sending domain. Every send traces to a delivery event on that person.

    • broadcast.scheduled
    • broadcast.sent
    • email.sent
    • email.delivered
  4. Leaving is one click and it sticks

One-click unsubscribe writes the withdrawal and the suppression in the same transaction. There is no list they can be re-added to by an import.

    • email.unsubscribed
    • consent.withdrawn
  5. You test the words that got them

Two versions of the popup headline, split by a stable visitor key, with one plain sentence about which is converting better once there are enough visitors to say.

    • form.viewed
    • form.submitted

Start from

Templates that already ask this

Every one of these is a real template in the product with its questions already written. Apply one, change what is not yours and publish.

  • Use it when you want a mailing list and the whole ask is one box and one tick.

  • Free download

    3 questions

Use it when a guide, a price list or a template is the thing people came for and an email is the price.

Show it as

The modes that suit this

Display mode is a setting on the form. Try one this week and another next week without touching the questions or losing the submissions.

  • Popup

A centred panel over a dimmed page. Focus is held inside it, Escape closes it and the page underneath cannot be tabbed into while it is open.

  • Slide-in

A panel that arrives from a corner without covering the page. The quiet one: a reader can carry on reading and answer it when they are ready.

  • Bar

A strip pinned to the top or the bottom. One line of words and one field, for an announcement that wants an email address rather than a click.

  • Inline

The form sits in your page where you put the div. It scrolls with the content and pushes the page around it, so it reads as part of the site rather than as an advert on top of it.

Honestly

What this does not cover

The things people ask for next, with the answer today. If one of these is the whole reason you were looking, better to read it here than to find out inside.

Where this stops

PopzIQ has no online store and no product recommendations. It is a list, not a storefront.

A new sending domain has no reputation and you build it by sending well. No tool can hand you one.

The free plan sends 500 emails a month. Contacts are unlimited on it, which is the axis that usually costs money.

Five minutes, start to finish

Create a workspace, apply one of the templates above, publish it and watch the first event land on a real customer record.

No card to start. No trial clock. The free plan runs the whole loop.
